Probably one of the best looking S14'z I've ever seen. I think if Gronholm drives like this the whole season he will really give Loeb a run for the championship. I have not seen anyone drive an STI this fast since the great legends.

    Marcus crashes out

http://www.wrc.com/jsp/index.jsp?lnk=101&id=4437&desc=Gronholm’s crash in his own words

“Okay, at the beginning of the stage I was maybe a little bit excited to go fast and try to do a good time,†he explained. “I went a little bit wide in a left-hander and hit a tree with the back of the car. We went off the road, rolled over once, and landed back on our wheels. I started the engine, got back on the road and did maybe 5kms before we started to have problems with overheating and had to stop.

“I don’t know how bad the damage is. We’ll see when the car gets back here. My only concern is the engine. Otherwise I think it’s possible to fix if we want to start again tomorrow,†he added.

Bummer, but it was great to see a subaru on pace / fighting for the lead again.
