I'm patching my XT6 back together, and plan to RallyX it a bit. Due to my experience and the amount of competition, I figured I'd try to stay out of the Modified class, if I can. But....I might not have a choice. Prepared class says the following about suspension: My suspension uses all original mounting points, in the same way as stock. But, AWD 6-cyl XTs all came with air struts, and I've converted to coils using 4-cyl parts.
I think that you'll be ok with running the updated suspension. Usually they aren't as picky about the suspension set ups as they are engine modifications. You may want to ask Dave Goodman if you are really concerned, but i'm about 100% positive that you'll be fine with your setup to run in the Stock AWD class.
