I need some true JDM people to help me answer a question. What are those little swirly things called that are found in some ramen? (white with a red swirly) I've got money riding on this. Thank you in advance.
Specifically in Nong Shim Extra Spicy Picante (the Bowl Noodle kind). Also: Bielke, what did you think of that stuff?
Naruto! It's like a fish sausage that is cut, revealing the pink swirl (or sometimes other designs). ~Dan EDIT: pic..
Where are you finding a Ramen-Ya that actually puts naruto in their bowls???? My lust for good ramen has driven me to the point of taking a trip back to Japan!
It's sometimes called Naruto because it resembles the Naruto Uzu (natural whirlpools in Naruto). The actual fish cake is called kamaboko. I have family from the Naruto area and they call it kamaboko :dunno: Why you're not calling it by its Korean name (odeng or something... I forget) since you're talking about a Korean ramyeon :dunno:
