I thought I would pass these on because they are pretty good deals. First: I got a set of GearWrench 120xp ratchets earlier this year and they are awesome! I bought mine from tooldiscounter and picked them up from their shop (vandias heights). 3pc polished set is 70.97+tax http://www.tooldiscounter.com/ItemDisplay.cfm?lookup=KDT81206P or 3pc polished set would be 66.28 (plus shipping?) http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=208385 Second: Kobalt 72tooth 3/8 flex head ratchet with 4in extension and two spark plug sockets ($9.88). **WARNING** These ratchets' internals are not lubed (pun) and should be to extend life. http://www.lowes.com/pd_436178-2232...L=?Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&facetInfo=
I just bought a couple of the Kobalt sets because of this thread. Thanks! BTW did you take yours apart? The two screws on back first or what? Lithium grease?
There are three screws, two on the back side and one on the front side. I use super lube which comes highly recommended by pros for ratchets.
Thanks for the heads up! Would you also happen to know if the ratchet in this set needs to be lubed as well? http://www.lowes.com/pd_338525-2232...L=?Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&facetInfo=
Yeah they have an app for that called slide up and down. A virtual light switch that controls your lights via wifi. Up for on down for off. Strobe mode extra
Yo dawg, I heard you like wifi light bulbs. So we put wifi in your light bulbs so you can wifi while you light bulb.
The gearwrench 120XP ratchets are quite possibly some of the best (if not the best) ratchets currently on the market. I'd put them against the Snap On Dual 80's (having used both extensively) any day of the week. 120XP's are rated at 180% of ASME torque and the Snap On are rated at 195% of ASME torque for strength, but one Dual 80 costs twice the price of the 120XP set.... 120XPs are smoother than the Dual 80's with out a doubt. Nice to see another garage journal member!
