YAY. i finally found time to take out my back seat. originally i had been meanign to re tighten the 3 bolt that hold the top of the strut in place. so i did that first. 3 of the six bolts wee not snug.

next i started to mount my crossovers for my rear speakers. this took a couple hours since i need to pick up mounting hardware and find a drill. no with these mounted i had an issue with wire lenghts and my tweeters nto being able to reach the upper side of the rear deck. so after some re-wiring. i got it to work.

once i reinstalled the rear seat (hehehe fold down rear seats rule) i started it up to see if my wiring worked ok. while sometime in the project i had knocke my ground off for my amp. so with some intense e-tape / zip tie repiar on that it is thumpin again.

heres where the rattely death comes in. since before i did this, the crossovers, and tweeter were dangeling around from teh wires, bouncing of of my rear strut bar. so when i hit a pot hole or bump it sounded like my call would fall apart/explode.

with this done, i hit the road. aiming for bumps, and my mounting paid off. not one noise from the trunk (expect for my sub hoping around on bigger bumps)

i will take some pics later. that car is almost dead silent when hitting bumps now, huge improvement.

by the time i am done w/ the car it will be almost brand new lol.

    things to do:

    fix drivers window
tighten spoiler (prevent rattles from subs, amazingly this is the only thing that rattles in my car from the bass)might end up being new trunk lid.
    replace passenger side door.
new hood, grille, headlights, foglights, and front bumper beam.

ok i got pics uploaded now.

this is one of how i mounted the crossover to the bottom of the rear deck. which prevents it from smashing into my strut bar reducing rattley death effects.

this one shows the entire back seat (yay fold down seats) anyway now there are just some loose wire haging there which is far better then crossovers, tweeters, and a trunk light.

this is of my amazing fix job on my amps ground.

this pics is of the PITA bolts that were loose in the strut. this pic is from when i put my coilovers in, since i didnt want to remove the seat againg to take a pic. but it looks the same now except there is a strut tower bar in there too.

if you get a new trunk, you should get a RS one with the RS wing....wouldn't that look nice with the hood etc.
