I have an RCA Lyra RD2780 laying around that never got used really. I bought it last fall before I moved to MN. I used it during my 3 day trip for a little bit and haven't used it since I have been here. So, I would say it probably has about 10 hours of use on it. It plays MP3s/Video files. It can store files like a hard drive. It can store pictures and you can view them on the screen. (Good for taking your photos with you so others can see them without lugging around a laptop) It had software but it was basicly just MusicMatch software. The device acts like an external USB hard disk so you don't need the software anyway...just plug it in, load your music, movies, pictures and files *20GB WORTH* and go. Also included is the Power adapter so you can recharge it. To put it into perspective for you, I haven't charged the thing since I got here in November, I can still turn it on and it has 2/3 battery life left. There is a Car Cigarette Power Adapter for it I have a FM tuner output so you can play it through the radio in your car or at home (no need to route pesky RCA cables) Leather Carrying Case thing. Allows access to all the buttons, but keeps the face nice. No bad pixels...the unit is pristine. $300.00 Specs and pics can be found here... http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00008VFCU/002-2615372-6769644?v=glance
