    Hi folks,

I am here to tell you about an on-going problem in the MNSubaru community. One that from what I have heard, existed well before I arrived. And it is still in effect as of today.

When a new Event is posted, EVERYONE dives in and raises their little 'e-hand' and says they will be going. The event gets huge online...hundreds of posts, lots of e-hand raising and signing up...the list of attendees grows super long and everything looks like it is gonna be great.

Then, the day of the event comes along and about 25% or less of the people that raised their virtual hands online actually show up for the event.

Don't believe me, do a search for "EJ22T Teardown" or "Go Kart" I'm sure you will find all the info you need.

Everyone has excuses, and I know things come up. But alot of people that organize these events have numerous dollars and hours tied up in piecing together a great event, they base the event on how many people say they are going, then they get screwed when no one actually shows up...like buying a keg of Killians Irish Red for 20+ people and only having about 5 show up.

Here is my challenge to you. Don't sign up for an event unless you are sure you want to go. If you are unsure about going, then put that in your post..."I'm not sure if I really want to go to this, tell me more about it." Pretty simple, and it makes it easier on the event planner because he can estimate the amount of actual people that will show up better.
