Recycle a cat?

    Anyone ever recycled a Subaru Downpipe? If so where and how much did you get? Yeah haven't had my wrx for 2 years now, and I gotta get rid of this thing.

    They aren't worth much anymore. Too many people stole cats off new vehicles and made the price plummet.

    umm...so thats why some ass tried to stole my uncle's Toyota Tundra's pipe and got caught. Interesting...

    This is what I was thinking he was talking about as well untill I opened the thread. So I lol'd hard when I seen it was for a car cat:laugh:

    but to the OP, you would probably get more for it by selling it on nasioc, find someone that needs to go back to stock for whatever reason.. selling, emissions...

    Thanks, don't really want to bother with trying to sell it, didnt want to just toss it in the trash if it was worth something.

    I recycled an up pipe once for $35 back when cats were still worth quite a bit. I had to fill out a form stating that it (and other cats I was recycling at the time) wasn't stolen.

    That was over two years ago though.

    Wheres a good place that you guys have gone to recycle materials?
    I too have a couple of these sitting around and need to get rid of them
