I've seen on websites these little things you can wire in so your CEL doesn't come on when you remove a/multiple cat(s). Does anyone know what it is? Can I make one with some wires and resistors and cr@p?

Yes you can make one yourself. The info is on the modifications section of NASIOC

Back in the day the fix was to just unplug the lamp. I think mine would still be on to this day had it not been disconnected completely :I

Once Joel reads this, he can tell ya the parts needed to make one yourself. I used the pony express mil eliminator. Never had a problems with it.

Well I know how it works for the 02/03 WRX, but not for a Legacy or an SVX. Mine consists of a capacitor and a resistor. I used to have a pic with Radio Shack part numbers...

It doesn't work the same? Could you get me info on yours? Pretty please? Otherwise I might have to buy one. However, I don't know if they make one for the SVX.

Well I'm assuming it COULD be different. If they used two different methods for different years of just the WRX, it might be totally different on an SVX.

I honestly think there is very little likelihood of it working on your car. Your O2 sensors may be totally different, have different colored wires, etc. All I know is that on mine, there is one and only one rear O2, and splicing these doodads in prevents P0420.
