I have a loud pop coming from the front right of the car every time I turn the wheel to the right while moving or hitting bumps. I've replaced endlinks all around, just put in completely new tie rods and had a four wheel alignment done. I'm thinking it has to be in the suspension then and the top hats are the most likely candidate? Is it possible to replace the front strut top hats without removing the struts? Basically, I'm lazy and don't want to have to deal with getting another alignment.
No, not possible. That said, you can mark the eccentric bolt and retain your alignment reasonably well.
