THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE/PART OUT THREAD!!!!

Hey guys, well it's been almost 2 months now and the car still hasn't sold. I know the price isn't the issue, it's that the car is modified and needs a specific buyer. I've had a few interested in it and they can't come up with the money. I've always known that returning a modified car back to stock and selling the parts off is the best idea, but earlier I didn't want to deal with that.

Let me know if this sounds ok.

If I took off my modified parts(minus the tranny, clutch, and flywheel) do these prices sound reasonable? Most of these parts are damn near new.

First Price is what I plan on selling for, second price is retail.

    -APS Top Mount Intercooler - $500 - $1000
    -APS Blow off Valve - $150 - $215
    -APS Air Splitter - $75 - $150
    -STI Hood scoop(silver) - $75 - $250
    -Subaru Painted(silver) sideskirts - $100 - $200
    -Deadbolt 18G Turbo (TD05) - $800 - $1325
    -Helix Up Pipe - $75 - $150
    -Godspeed 3" downpipe 4" bellmouth with wideband bung - $200 - $400
    -Bosal 3" Cat back exhaust(twin tip) - $200 - $400
    -PE800cc Injectors - $300 - $649
    -Walbro 255 fuel - $50 - $100
    -Injen Cross Pipe - $75 - $220
    -GPMoto short ram intake - $50 - $110
    -Koyo Radiator & Samco Blue Hoses- $300 - $475
    -UTEC and remote switch - $600 - $900
-set of 4(or 5 if you want a slightly bent rim for a full size spare) 17x7 Exel BK-7 gunmetal rims with damn near brand new ES100 tires - $700 - $1,600
-Greddy front lip painted silver with 2 smaller chipps near the underside.

Let me know if those prices sound fair, most are new and around %50 off.

With the car having most stock parts back on with 48,300 miles would a fair sale price be $15,500?
Also will I need to replace the samco turbo inlet hose, or does that only need replacing when taking the stocker off?? Also, with the STI v6 tranny and lighter flywheel and clutch, would anything in the stock ecu need to be changed? Or since it's a manual does that just not matter at all with the UTEC out.

I will need some stock parts. I will update if I think of anything else.
    -Stock WRX Injectors
    -Stock radiator
-Don't need it but would like stock radiator hoses
    -Stock cat back exhaust

Ok, well looks like someone has an STI radiator for me, and the stock exhaust.

I would prefer a wrx radiator if anyone has one for a fair price or trade deal.

Also if anyone has stock injectors I will still need those.

Again, I will find out tommarow if I will even be doing this, but it's nice to find out if anyone has what I might need in advance.

Thanks for all of the pm's.

I agree with your thinking on selling a modded car. In the mind of most buyers, it won't sit well...and the car will be more dealer friendly if you have to trade it.

Personally a car that has been extensively modded and returned to stock would be just as "undesireable" to me as a modified car in the first place. Definitely makes it more dealer-friendly though. Good luck.

that's why you return it to stock and don't tell them it was modded, that or get a dealer to buy it.

Plus it only had the heavy bolt ons for ~1700 miles, and maybe 1 of those miles it was boosted past 16....

Well its official, shes goin back to stock(minus the tranny clutch and flywheel)

So I've sent out a few pm's back to those that were interested in gettin rid of some stock parts I need and to those looking to take some of mine.

    Things I need still:
    -Stock Injectors (pending)
    -Stock Radiator(pending)
    -Stock Exhaust(pending)
*****-Stock unmodded headlights, willing to trade + $ for my half fast Koji job on my stockers. The right one had some epoxy melt because I didnt mix it right.*****

Otherwise I will wait for the most part to sell off any of my other parts until I get them off the car and get it running again.

Haha, Since Im fully catless I always try to get home around 10 to switch cars so I dont wake anyone up. It's a nice exhaust, I've polished it a couple of times still nice and shiney.

Koyo Radiator and Samco Hoses, APS Blow off valve, Walbro Fuel pump, are all called for now.

I will no longer need stock injectors and stock radiator and maybe I wont need stock exhaust, I think I still have mine.

I still need stock headlights, and I might need driver side tail light.
