Got my transmission back together after tearing into it to replace the speedometer drive output gear. Put car in reverse and immediately the headlights turn on and the engine fans run. The fans stay on until the car is turned off again. Head lights not able to be turned on at all unless with previous condition. Through all the frustration, it turns out that if the fuse for the backup lights are out, this is the result. Subaru's!!!!
