Um... whats everyone's thoughts on this and how hard/expensive would it be to actually do this? Basically move the driver from the Left-side to the Right-side.
Not worth your time. Save your money and do something that will make the car faster and/or handle better.
I guess...it will make life easier by grabbing your mail out of the mailbox without getting out of the car...
lolz...but not for drive-through fast food, unless you have a passenger or if your at a Goodtimes(they have drive-throughs on both side of the building.
most people i've seen do good conversions start with a jdm front clip and basically cut out the usdm firewall and weld the jdm one in. then you'll have to swap the steering rack and do a lot of re-wiring and other miscellanious bits. gonna be pretty expensive and time consuming to do it right and have it look ok
You will need: Firewall Dashboard Steering rack Not sure if the exhaust would have to be modified to fit the steering components or not. Welding is required I'm sure there is alot more, wiring for example since everything will be swapped. Your window controls will be on the wrong side, so if you wanted to do it right you'd need JDM seats since your adjustments for the driver's seat will be on the wrong side, your window controls will be on the wrong side, so door cards for the front doors from a japanese car. Your side mirrors will need to be changed since your USDM mirrors are focused and made to be used on a USDM LHD configuration. In all seriousness, this is a foolish waste of money if you don't already have a JDM wrecked shell to play with.
