Hey guys, I am going to be selling one of my cars shortly and I am thinking about picking up some rims. I have an 06' wrx in wrb. What kind of rims do you guys like? I kinda like the Rota grids, torques and BBS's.. Also I am not sure which color I like better, if it should be the gold/bronze or a black/gunmetal.. I would like to go 18" in the rotas and BBS's could be 17 so what would be a good offset to have and how wide should they be, 8.5"? I would prefer to not roll the fenders... And I think I would rather buy them used and be a little worn/scratched so I could just repaint them to whichever color I like. So let me know what you guys think..
^fixt. Look for used. Rotas are a good "bang for the buck" and are usually easy to acquire used, especially on Subaru forums. Find a set that you like on their website and start looking for them either here or on NASIOC. Or go to Boost for Boobies at MAP on Saturday. You'll be able to see many different Rotas on Subarus that are WRB so that you can see which color you like best with your car color. GL!
Rotas or drags are some of the best bang for your buck and easiest to find used. If you are running 18x8 235/40R18 is probably a better fit. Depending on the tire 225/45R17 should be fine on 17x8. I love Charcoal grey and bronze on WRB. Also MB weapons or MB battles are a decent fitment as well.
