so I was looking at rims and reading about offsets and wonder about a few questions. I notice that most of Ebay's rims comes 48+offset, and (correct me if I'm wrong) the Sti's is 53 offset. Few people said if the Offsets are not correct then the bearings will go out after a while. So here are my questions:

What is the stock Offset for the WRX's?
Is it safe to run those Ebay 48+ offset rims?
whats the RECOMMANDED offsets for WRX's(after market rims)?

A large portion of the STI crowd run offsets that aren't even close to +53 in the winter. I'm sure it isn't as easy on the wheel bearings as +53 but I haven't seen any posts saying someone thought their's were shot because of it.

tirerack recommends and sells rims for the STI down to the low/mid 40s. I think the general rule of thumb is to not go lower then that.
