I lost a car in the sun that was stopped turning left in front of us. We didnt see it, i dodged to the right and lost control and spun a 180 into the other lane and got rear ended by a oncoming truck, which btw you couldnt even tell that it hit anything....
Had the same thing happen to me with a late 80's mustang. I had to pay 18 dollars for a busted tail lamp assembly. My car took over 3300 in damages. Then she came back 3 years later and tried to claim whiplash. Similar situation too, sun blinded, and when I got a second of shade, it was already too late.
As little as I get around, I've like that car! Good thoughts, I was there for the quote "I am the bird killer", and even pulled it out at the ice races last winter. Sorry to hear! Glad your both OK! So swap into older L, or just upgrade to STi?

Glad you both are ok. Make sure you both get your neck checked out because it can be a problem well after accident. Did you have a MRI? If there is any pain make sure it is documented somewhere with your insurance report. Good news you're in the market for a new car, what are your thoughts?
WOW, I'm glad you two are ok. It's strange seeing that back seat all smashed up and thinking that my kid drove home from the hospital in that same seat. I'm really glad you and Brian are not injured.
All the more reason for MN to drop the bs tint laws and allow ALL windows to be tinted...including windshields! Sorry the Rex lost it's life, but very thankful that you and Brian made it out of that situation unscathed!
