Road Trip Pics! Pike's Peak, Badlands, Black Hills

Here's some pictures from my road trip out west. The trip to Pike's Peak was inspired by AWDImprezaL, but I have a rex. :hsugh: Enjoy!

 

ftw I had an absolute blast when I went, it was only 37 at the top for me though, but there was about an inch of hail everywhere :laugh:

 

Yeah I had incredible weather for the entire week-long trip. No rain at all, the whole time. It basically looked like the pictures for 6 days straight.

Of course that meant that the car never got rinsed off.

 

I gotta update my thread with some more pics, my wife likes to hide some of them in different folders for no reason whatsoever.

 

So jealous, I haven't been to the badlands for 10 years. That subie looks very happy in those pics.

i havent been out there in a long time. i love camping in the badlands best night skys to camp under

 

Make sure you take Hwy 16A through the black hills. That's one sick road.

 

Man I miss the mountains. Lived in AZ for 10 years. Looks like you had fun. Any good beer stops?

These pics make me wanna move back to co springs. I used to look up at pikes peak everyday.
