i have developed a problem. my car now has a rough idle. it isnt a horrible one, the car is still driveable, but i would like to figure out the the issue is.

it drives just fine. when at idle the rpms drop lower than usual <500rpms. and then it fluctuates. sounds kinda like it has cams or something but it doesnt. this problem started after I was working on re-installing my amp. I reattached the power to the + terminal. tried out the system and it seemed to work. on the drive home it almost died on me at a stop light.

could i have poped some sort of fuse? I am going to check the CELs when i get a chance later today.

mine did the exact same thing last week,I sprayed a can of throttle body cleaner into the TB and it went away.

It would drive fine but when you let off the idle dropped and would jump from around 500 rpm to 1200rpm and go back and forth.

mine started right after I pulled the SAFC and the air intake off, I was getting a oxygen sensor light right after but the TB cleaner seemed to make it much better

DUH!!!!! took a look last night and guess what. it was a vacuum leak. one of the little hoses on the IM cracked and popped off. replaced and walla no more idle problems.

on a side note i also pulled 7 codes from the obd2:
    MAP/BARO Sensor
    Knock Sensor
O2 sensor heating circuit (didnt mention that i dont have a rear sensor lol)
    TQ convertet clutch circuit
    and a few more.

if you have a knock sensor code it isint "sort of" going out, its out, and will make you get horrible gas mileage, and it will be slower then it already is
