I am putting a 99RS cd player / head unit into my moms 03 legacy because she wants cd and tape capabilities. I have everything hooked up as it should be, however i am not getting any power to the cd player. The cd player is a seperate unit from the tape deck / radio. There is a 4 pin Molex connector on the cd player which I believe supplies the power. However there is no avaiable 4 pin connector in the dash area. Does anyone know what the pin configuration of this connector should be (power/ground/ect...) Or better yet does anyone have a picture of what this should look like so I can trace the correct colored wires to the source? I have an extra connector so if i can find out what need what i can wire it in manually. EDIT: I just put in the stocker again. However the RS one is made by Clarion, so I would still like to know this for future reference.
^ really? The cd player has a cord coming out of it which fits perfectly into the back of the tape deck. I tried just using this to run the cd player but it would not receive power. I looked all over for a 4 pn connector and i found nothing. I am wondering if the no longer have that connector in there since it is a different model/year than the car it came out of.
