Thanks. Got em used of NASIOC and there was a decent amount of undisclosed damage to em, but you really can't notice from more than a few feet away unless you know exactly where to look for it. They seem to shine up fairly nice, too. :)

    It is. And thank you.

It's 35% and something between 5-15% on the back window. I've been ticketed once and noticed another time - both in small towns up north. Despite having been pulled over several times in the Twin Cities, its never been an issue here, yet.

Agreed. I'm going to do smoked side markers, but probably leave the front blinkers yellow. Under those are the yellow plastic pieces, which I plan to paint black.

Actually, I like the amber tails. Initially, I thought of going clear, but now I'm not so sure. I think it needs a little color. If it were a blue or dark grey RS it would be different.

To each his own I am a fan of clear with amber lights. That's what my turn signal (still looking for the driver side) light is, love the look over the clear.

Yeah - I saw one of your threads where you showed a stock headlight pic and a pic of what you had done. Didn't you black some of it out, too? I thought what you did you definitely looked better for your car.

I wish I had the patiences to sit and detail my cars as some of you do. Maybe next time I'll get someone else to do it for me.

I bought the car like that but yes, Jake had taken apart the lights and painted what was mirrored and painted it black. I did the driver side to match on Thursday, really easy and Bielke has done it to his GC if you ever wanna see that.

Sweet pics! Post some on the COTM contest! I think you would have a good chance of winning! Uptown here also. We need to have an Uptown mini-meet sometime, maybe even party?? I think some other people live by the lakes too on here.

Can I tell you a secret?

I spent next to no time at all caring for the appearance of my car. I have a Mister Carwash membership and I always go a couple times a week - have the interior cleaned for an extra $5 every weekend, and twice a year I do a little more thorough (incl underbody) simple hand wash and engine bay degreasing.

I plan to add more to my routine - an occasional waxing, maybe a little more detailing/dressing under the hood. But honestly, it seems like what I'm doing is working pretty well, keeping the car looking good.

I recall seeing photos of Bielke's, too, which I thought looked pretty decent.

Nope, sorry. The debadging/decals were done by the previous owner and I don't have the removed badges.
