Here they are after we showed them who was in charge of this install: Dont let they're cute green color fool you... these SOB's got what they deserved. Here is the td04 sitting pretty... not knowing what will happen to it in the near future... After we ripped the hairdrier from its location it was time for a photoshoot : OMG WTF HAPPENED TO THE BOOST?!?!?! HI2U big turbo : Oh yeah; its in... TXS TMIC V.2 with some temp probes will be trying to cool all that sweet sweet boost. And for the none believers... It fit w/out any modification... Here's a pic of Russ showing off his 1337 h4><0r skillz tuning the UTEC: Its time to start it.... Oh ****... Turns out the banjo bolt for the oil return line to the head wasn't as tight as it needed to be. After about an hour or so we got her running leak free. I haven't had a ride in it yet. We took it for a drive tonight... Had some issues first with fuel cut being at 20psi. After we adjusted that we had some problems with... Traction Steve
Neef, go into the olf parameters and bump up the boost/fuel cut. If you are running 20 psi, you will hit the fuel cut and it feels like you cut the throttle and slammed on the brakes at the same time. Once you get past eh fuel cut it is all . Thanks to Steve and Troy for helping out, now I just need to do a little clean up, and start building my maps. Russ
I think about 35-3700 or so. It happens so fast, and I haven't had a chance to build any maps for it yet. I was busy all day yesterday, so I didn't even get to look at it. Hopefully this wee I will have some more time to start the tunning. Russ
Man Russ, that's sweet! Is that the same TMIC? Did you get that kink in the hose between it and the throttle body fixed then? Gotta see it!
The oil line came with the turbo. Fp sells the line and both of the turbo gaskets as a kit. I don't even remember what they charge for it. The ic does fit a little bit better, but I have some tweaking to do on the brakets. I had to bend the driver side up a bit, and it was a little to much. Russ
I still haven't touched the car since last weekend. I will be out of town all this weekend, so I won't be able to start working n it till next week. Hopefully I will have it up and running with a half-assed map next weekend so I can start doing some dial in tuning. Russ
