I got the first coat of primer on the quarter panel last night, I am not sure what to do now, should I try to match the paint or just do the entire car matte black??? painted my valve covers as well. here are some pics
id try to paint match it...ive done it in the past with rattle cans..although it was white paint you really could not tell the difference..that was with no clear coat and it just looked like the fender was a lil cleaner than the rest of the car.
That was a test. I'm pretty sure any and every thread on the site that mentions a honda includes at least one StatGSR post.
I know. Shame on me. I'll just go bury my head in the sand somewhere. Maybe down at Hiniker Pond But wait, I have to finish my Pro E stuff first. Dammit!
YES, I cut all the rust out and yes, its not perfect but it will get me through as many winters as I will want to drive it! now, rustoleum.... I dont want a gloss black car, too much work.... maybe matte if I decide to go black, but if I do paint the entire car I was thinking Pewter or WHITE
I can haz help!!!!! can I paint a rally pig on there? PLZZZZ!!!!! +1 for custom stuff from the grand master fluffy bunny
meh, hondas are still my first love, subys get #2. i only wanted to show the potential of a proper rusto paint job. check out the time stamp dan, wasnt talking about u bud. but i guess it still holds true... and have fun with that haha. thats not me.

any help would be sweet! im not the best painter, so any help would be much appreciated! im located in mound, about 25-30 mins west of the cities. shoot me a pm and we can discuss things further!
nice looking body work so far. FYI: if you want to color match, Welle Auto Supply will mix your color (based on trim codes) and put it in a rattle can for you. I did this once and the color was very close. It would be pretty easy to get it to match with some blending.
