I just got my Sage exhaust finisher for my bumper and it doesn't fit well at all!
I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem. I e-mailed the seller and I'm waiting for a response. Here's some pics. It just has a gap at the top!

Yeah, I got it from E-Bay and it was shipped from Singapore. This was my first overseas buy and the first time I've been displeased with an E-Bay purchase out of 29 buys.
I wonder if anyone on here has the skills to reshape it a little?
I paid $117 with shipping...and for that f'n price it should fit perfect!!!!! :banghead:
I sent the seller a message and I'll wait to hear back before I e-mail Sage Racing about this problem.

CF that has been epoxied and set doesn't really lend itself to being re-shaped. It isn't a very flexible material either. You might be SOL on this one. I can't even think of a solution for you. I'd say go pick up some 18gauge aluminum sheet from home-depot and bend one up on your own. If you want, I can polish it to a mirror finish ;)

Man, that really sucks! Sorry to hear. It almost looks like its the wrong part, but its close enough that it looks like a defect/qc problem/knock-off. Keep us posted!

Well I finally got them to respond back to me and they said they will refund the cost of the shield. They said they don't know why it wouldn't fit my car and said I probably have non JDM bumpers. Anyways, I will bringing this Sage exhaust shield up to Firestone this friday to see how it fits on other WRX's and if it fits on your car and you want to buy it...its yours...I paid $117 total and it would look really good if it would fit my bumper. If it doesn't fit anyone's car up at Firestone I will send it back for my refund.
Damn!!!! I wish this would fit!

Yeah I could get different hangers too, but I found out I probably don't even have to worry about it.
I was told that I will need one, so I bought one for when I did finish my exhaust.
Turns out it hasn't backfired yet and probably won't since I don't have stage two or a bov.

^ the backfiring doesnt melt your bumper, its the heat from the metal that will melt your bumper
