I dont live in the Twin Cities but make lots of road trips for parts. I have seen on another forum a place call u-pull-it parts. I searched and could only come up with u-pull-r parts. Is this the same thing as I was told that u-pull-IT parts has a few cars of the models that I would need some parts for. If these are 2 different places wcould somone give me the location of u-pull-it parts thanks
There is a U-pull up here in Ham Lake or is it East Bethel. The cities are right next to each other, anyway its right off hwy 65
East Bethel. The real issue here is that people frequently refer to any junkyard where you can go out and pull the parts yourself as a "u-pull" So, there are the u-pull-r-parts yards in Rosemount and east Bethel, but what other "u-pull" type yards arein the Twin Cities?
there are a bunch. 2 UPullRParts locations ( www.upullrparts.com ). there's French Lake Auto Salvage. and that's all I can think of now. There used to be a couple in Alexandria. look in the phone book under "car parts - used".
French lake does not really have a selection of subarus, or any modern jap car, but they rule for older domestic stuff!! w00t!!!
Viking stopped doing u-pull quite some time ago I was told. I used to go there every sat morning when I lived in Northfield Good times.
I was at Viking yesterday. No more "u-pull", but their prices (at least what we inquired about) we're good. They didn't have much for Subie's newer than the GC-chassis era, though.
Here's a related question. U-Pull-R-Parts doesn't sell anything that doesn't unbolt from a car. I'd really like to source a roof skin for an old Sentra. So what yards allow you to show up with a sawzall and go nuts?
