Saturday ((4/19/08)) Spring car carpet cleaning!! @ ((STANLEY STEEMER))

For those of you who do not know, I work for Stanley Steemer carpet cleaning here in the Twin Cities. We're located in Eden Prairie.

I am hosting an in car carpet cleaning extravaganza! We not only clean carpet in homes, but we also do cars, vans, SUVs, and RVs.
This is for all MNSubaru members and is not limited to just Subaru cars. You can bring other auto's as well as long as you're a member.

This cleaning, includes all seats, floor carpet, floor mats, door cards and trunks.
We do upholstery and leather for the same price.
I am offering a 50% off sale, which I had to push and shove for! I can also do 50% off for those who would like to get their cars scotchgarded as well.
This is not a cheap shampoo that detail shops provide, nor is it done with a weak portable machine. **This cleaning is done with fully truck mounted equipment. Water is heated to 190 degrees with 13 lbs of vacuum. I will do a vacuum and a clean. Stanley Steemer is an international company.

I want to start a list, so I know who is coming, so let me know who is interested.
Cleaning will start at 8am for those early birds and will go until I'm finished or until 2pm. You can make a private appointment though PM if you cannot make it between those times.

Dynapar: Thanks for changing that title for me. I put you down for one, but if it doesn't work out, just let me know. No big deal.

Predavore: You're down for two bud. You can always have a buddy or family member bring the other car. What ever works.

hakstern: scotchgard is not the brand that we use, but it's the same thing with a different name. I used that name so most people would know what I'm talking about. We use a specially made teflon called Supershield by DuPont. It's virtually the same thing with a name we could own. Stanley Steemer nation wide owns the name Supershield.
Anyways, what it is.. it's a water based spray that goes on after the cleaning. It pretty much protects your investment, no matter what it is. Upholstery or carpet. It helps slow the process of wear and will provide a limited protection against stains. I say limited because not all stains are created equal. Some I can get out and others not so much. Red/pink/blue stains, not so much.

Emily: Any time. You can get in Saturday or another day. Just let me know what works for you. I'm pretty flexible if you can be as well. Just a note for you and all with wagons. Wagons are the same price as cars. Just cause you're a little bigger doesn't mean you're SUV price.

BTW, if you are still looking to pick up a summer job here, call in quick, we just hired a few more guys. I know you cant start till after school, but at least you can lock in a position. Yes, as a matter of fact..it's white with blue, yellow, and pink polka dots! :laugh:

 

Got the Evo steam cleaned this morning. Turned out great! Dave did the floors, seats and mats including trunk mat. It's a million times better. I have a little touch up vacuuming to do where the machine couldn't get, but it looks awesome!

Be sure to bring a couple garbage bags (to sit on) after you get the car cleaned and Scotchguard applied. Oh and Dave was right, cops hide out near his office. (Not me, they got a Honda).

Any way to get the salt out of the carpet? Should I do it before the cleaning?

 

Trek44:: Salt stains or salt pebbles?
If it's stains, I can get them out of the carpet pretty easy. I did my car after work and it is spotless! I got things out that I didn't think would even move. I can do a vacuum before I clean, but it's easier and faster if you have it somewhat vacuumed before you show up.

Predavore:: Thanks for coming by this AM and getting your whip done with us. I found a crevice tool when I got back from my route this afternoon. So that helps with the hard to get areas. Sorry I couldn't find that this morning bud.

Yea, didn't really set up times. More of like a cleaning meet. You guys can hang out until I get to ya. I just figured not all people would be showing up at the same times, but I'm pretty open, so if you want to make it a certain time, just let me know when.
I got a guy coming at 7:55 and that so far is the only set appointment. So if you want in an like 8:30, I can do that. What ever works best for ya.
