Asst. Manager Tom Freese at Discount Tire Co. in Plymouth off of 494, said hes willing to start group buys and local rebates for 2 or more people that will come in to buy tires, he wants to get into subies soon and is a good friend of mine and would like all of us(if interested) to write some sort of petition or group something??? so that he can suggest and insure cheaper prices for the MN subaru guys(you!)>>>>of course if there is not a better place to go---but the plus side is that discount tire GARUNTEES that they can beat any legit price you find, even online!--- post up if interested, thanks
I am going to discount tires and getting a set a all season in a couple weeks, iwas going to go to discount tires in Fridley on central, but would be willing to go to another one for a discount.
I have went to that one before, they do great work there. I now live in EP and just bought a set of all season for my car and today I am going to go get new tires put on my wifes car. Discount tire FTW!!!!
w00t! I won't be buying any real soon. but will need some AutoX tires next summer. heck, I might need a few sets of tires, since I'm going 5-lug. and I wouldn't think of going anywhere other than discount. I'm also going to be needing some Mud-terrains next spring, depending on what rig I still have, but either 29s or 33s, probably Kumho venture M/Ts...but maybe super swampers...
I'm in need of some new all season tires. Bald summer tires suck on snow. We got 6inches of snow!!! WOOT!. I had my fun =P
You can go to the plymouth location and ask for Tom Freese. Mention that you are from MNSubaru. This thread was started by a member that may or may not be active anymore on the forum. But I know he said that the discount is ongoing if you talk to Tom, and it has to be the Plymouth Discount Tires.
I just got a set of Azenis from Discount Tire in Eden Prairie. They are willing to price match any online prices you can find. Well, to within a few dollars, anyway. The price you want them to match has to include the online vendor's shipping, but the matched price includes tax, if you're willing to haggle a bit. I got them down to $6 above the Vulcan Tires price, which seemed reasonable enough. Stuart.
Willing be lookin at some Falken's. I will be in for a set of tires. LMK what tires/group buy you guys are heading towards. Or is it not a group buy?
I wasn't talking about a group buy. I'm just tired of paying internet tax (shipping fees), so if a brick and mortar shop locally can match the prices, I'm spending it with them. Stuart.
I need tires for size 205/60/15 I'm looking at Falken Ziex 512 And perhaps the Yokohama YK520. Whats the best price that he can do for the Yokohamas?
