Im currently in the writing lab at college right now. Its too shabby i say, i kinda enjoy college right now...well until it gets harder and become a biatch!
yarg... school is SLOW. although i like my schedul of only having 3 days of class a week. w/ 4 day weekends
I hated school while I was going to college, until I graduated and realized that life is so much simpler while you're in school. Trust me, enjoy it while you can!
depends on your school.. if your in high school, better enjoy it while you can... if you're in college, think of it this way - you will make more money when you are done... -hopefully-
College right now, at least I think... *looks in fridge, finds four different kinds of beer*, yup, college.
Easy while you were in school? damn, I'm taking 14 credits and working over 40 hours a week. It's far from easy. I hope its not worse after I am done with school.
yah tell me about it! im working and taking 13credits, takes up so much freakin time!!! good thing i have the weekends off, heck not even both my weekends are free...
schools boring and stupid.... teachers are stupid too. school may be better then life and work but its at least u can drive
i hafta admit i did have alot of fun driving to and from HS. Special memories include: driving to wayzata to work at 6 am after 8" snow, then to schol to discover it was closed. watching chux powerslide the HS parking lot, starting at 60, ending in his parkign spot drifting round local niehgborhoods
are you in HS? if you are just wait till college where most if not all professors are actually smart bright people, i didnt know if i would like college but i really do like it cuz the teachers are so much better
Even though school is intense, with lots of stuff on your plate, it's totally different than being on your own out of school. My college ran 24 hours a day, with lectures being 4 hours long 5-6 days a week, and a 4-8 hour lab per lecture. We'd have crap like lecture from 9am-1pm, lab from 1pm-5pm, and another lab from 1am-5am, with lecture again at 9am. *shudders* A 2 year degree in 14 months. But when you get out, even though it's less "work" this whole new world of crap comes at you. Bills and expenses that you never thought about. Rent, new problems with insurance (car, renters/homeowners, health, dental, etc...) because most ppl can't be on their parents anymore. Plus things like credit become VERY important VERY fast. Plus you no longer have people looking out for you once you get out. (family not included). Throw a 40+hour a week job on top of all the stuff for day to day living, add food, and some $$ somewhere to do something fun and you start to miss college real bad. I know that it seems hellish right now, but it's not that bad. Live it up while you still can. STAY AWAY FROM THE LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea I work from about 7:30-4:30 or later weekdays, come home and do homework until 12 or 2am, then repeat. I usually can squeeze some time to relax on the weekends though. Hopefully it pays off.
That's what I do all day for work... trust me its not that fun when its not your car, and its not a Subaru.
school does suck, but if you don't want to spend the rest of your life working in a fast food restaurant or factory best choice is SCHOOL!
HS sucked because we were trapped there 7:30-4:30 every day. College? Three hours a day for five days? Wonderful! Living in dorm without parents? Great! Not cooking or doing dishes? Priceless! Working 50+ hrs a week, commuting under threat of tickets, paying bills, shopping, cleaning your apartment? It's the hardest part of life. Being young rules.
stfu froot boots, i graduated last year and all i wana do is go back. listen all of the people who have experienced both worlds would all wana go back to HS.. so stfu and enjoy it while u can
college is a bitch i'm taking 5 classes with 14 credits total...computer application is simple, and same as the other classes but intro to business suck dick cause the teacher is a prick, and sociology sucks dick too cause everyday you gotta read chapter 1,2,3 and such and each chapter is like 30-40 pages long, and plus we gotta read this stupidass novel book too!
