I can hear what sounds like a metal scrapping somewhere in the engine when I rev to around 4,000 RPMs or even while accelerating around there, not sure what it is or if any one else has experienced this. It's a vague description.
'Scraping', not 'scrapping'. Someone please change the title. It's setting off my OCD. If your motor were scrapping, it would either be turning itself to scrap (which it might be) or fighting.
I'm more joking than anything. But if it's making metallic scraping noises, I'd be as worried as you are that it's turning itself into scrap. Sorry, but I'm not much help beyond understanding your concern.
it is a play on words with your misspelling. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=scraping https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=scrapping
scrapping is not recommended for your vehicle. unless its a broken subaru. for other creative methods to fixing your car please consult @ShortytheFirefighter for additional guidance.
Manual , and because it will create the noise consistently while driving or just revving the engine to 3500-4k rpms and sounds like its right in between the driver and passenger towards the dashboard
Nope only had the car for around a month now , but if it has anything to do with it , the car does need alignment
