Search feature

    ok, i do not like our search feature, everytime i go to search for somthing it tells me there are no matches, becuse either my two key words are to short (kind of dumb when the model of our cars, wrx, Svx or STi, are only 3 letters) or there are to many matches for this. for instance try searching for STi ATV, that has been double, and triple posted on this forum. ok kthanksbye!

    Changed to 3 and rebuilding search index now... this is gonna take a little while:eek:

    This will help a lot. When I had my RS, searching for anything relating to that car would get you nothing. You'd hope someone posted "naturally apirated" for what you're searching for. If not, it's a good hour of browsing the older threads. Is there a way we can exclude some popular two-letter search terms from the filter such as "RS" and "XT"?

    Yeah, I need to finish up rebuilding the index tonight in parts... it kept giving me the over 20% cpu usage error last night. Damn shared hosting.:eek:

    seems to be working better now, i just tired searching for atv, sti, and oil and it worked
