For future reference. Tires are the rubber things that make contact with the road Rims are the outer portion of a wheel, where the tire is mounted. Wheels are the round, metal things that bolt to the car. They have an outer "rim" where the "tires" are mounted. Wheel sizes are given in the following format: 18(diameter in inches)x8(width in inches) +40(offset) Tire sizes are given in the following format: 235(width in millimeters)/40(aspect ratio)/18(diameter in inches) It becomes very confusing when you say you have rims and wheels for sale, and then start giving tire sizes for the wheel measurements.

No, those don't work either. STI 2005-on has a bolt pattern of 5x114.3 WRX wheels have all been 5x100.

I am new to MNSubaru, but my 2nd one actually stated that I was selling both tires and rims. Yes the tire size is 235/45/17 which is new on the 2011 wrx The wheeles are 5x100 bolt pattern, however they are 17x8 instead of the standard 17x7 that WRX had previous to my year. I was attempting to sell both (tires and rims/wheels) for $800 as I asked above, however I will be keeping my tires AND I have a guy ready to buy my stock (5x100 17x8 gunmetal) rims for $550 and is just waiting for my new rims to come in the mail so that I can switch them out. Sorry to have caused confusion and/or an altercation between so many people but in real honesty I've been very amused and I feel like we need to all get together and have a fight club then go out for a coke at Culvers afterwards.
