This car is used almost exclusively for AutoX. Future plans (long term) include 17x9 wheels with 275/40R17 Kuhmo V710's, stiffer springs, full pillowball rear suspension links, front and rear Quaife diffs, a Cusco 35/65 center diff, a PPG dogbox, a 2.5L STI longblock, and a gaggle of various other mods. Slowly, year by year, this car evolves into what I want it to be. Hopefully only a few more years until I decide it is good enough.

A standard TD04. Not much for top end but you cannot feel the lag when autocrossing. It is the perfect turbo for what I do with it (well- a nice P&P TD04 would be better, but I've got higher priorities for the car right now) . :)

If there happened to be fun runs at an autocross I'd give you a ride no problem, assuming of course I planned ahead for it and put the passenger seat back in.

Show up around 3:00 at the next MAC autocross at Midway stadium (October 14th) and I'll give you a ride if we have fun runs. Midway we usually have fun runs, but not always.

Sean let me drive his car for a couple of fun runs at Midway Stadium. He isn't kidding when he says the turbo is about perfect for autocross! The power is almost instantaneous and there's so much of it, so fast, that I couldn't figure out what to do with it--besides scare myself!--in just two runs. I'd been considering a WRX or Sti swap for my 2.5rs when the stock motor gets tired. Now I'm convinced that's the way to go. Thanks, Sean!
