I hear everyone uses fishing wire. That's what I used to de-badge my WRX along with a hair dryer. Just wondering if there is any other ways you guys have tried it or other ways it will be faster. I want to get this done in under 2 hours. >_<

Yeah, I used the fishing wire on my car. That and a little Goo-Gone to get off all the leftovers.

Trust me, use the heat gun... Some Bug Off is a little less abrasive to paint than Goo Gone, also.

I'll stick with the fishing line and my crazy mad guns to do the work I think.

It took me about 10 minutes with a heat gun and some spiderwire. may take alittle longer to get all the goo off.

^ a hair dryer will work fine, it will just take alittle longer to heat it up. You can actually do this w/o heat but it is harder to get the goo off.

you could always plug the hair dryer into a 220 outlet and it would get the job done....

It's okay, I don't let too many people drive my car, unless it's Fobia, the Subaru people at the dealership, and well sadly, myself.
