    my check engine light came on my on wrx and when it turns on it misses really bad at first but then as the motor gets warm it isnt so bad but still misses anybody know what that could be

    nice job at only putting on the 2 mods that are not recommended for a stock ecu'd car. I'd take them both off and reset the ecu.

    Yep, the HKS bov is full atmosheric which is bad for your car (causes rich conditions at shift) and Intake (any brand) which causes lean conditions and MAF voltage skewing.
    Nothing throws the CELs like making things rich when they need to be leaner and making things too lean when they need to be rich.

    Hmmm....sounds like a misfire, perhaps. Do you know what codes you are throwing?

    I'd pull the plugs and inspect the coilpacks.

    ....also, ditch the intake and BOV. ;)

    might try new plug wires, if nothing else works.

    FYI rexxes dont have plug wires, they have individual coil packs

    Fouled idle air control valve. Your symptoms are exactly what I experienced, cleaning the IACV with some Seafoam took care of it.

    the car had the miss before the blow off valve was put on and the intake

    I had an intake and hks bov on my old 02 rex. no problem at all. after installing a turbo back exhaut, started having mis firing once in awhile.
