Shipping a trunk?? Anybody done it?

I need to ship a trunk cross country and i got quoted 350 bucks for a trunk i sold for 175 shipped. Haha how are people doing this and what companies are they using! Any help would be appreciated!!

 

I got mine shipped to me from Wisconsin but they used Speedee delivery not sure where all they go. But it was strapped down on a pallet and cost me $75

 

I've not tried it personally but supposedly Greyhound is pretty cheap for bulky items like that (assuming you can get it boxed up decently.) The buyer will need to pick it up at the bus station.

Greyhound does have some size limitations, and it of course isn't shipped to someone's door. They will have to pick it up. The alternative is freight, and you can check out sites like UShip and such to get bids.
