Hey anyone know of a local shop (motorcycle, auto, snowmobile, etc.) that they'd recommend for recharging a nitrogen shock as well as changing/bleeding the shock oil? I have a unique application that no one is going to specialize in but is very close to something like an Ohlins. I have the diagrams and replacement seals so I'm hoping I can find a competent shop that could try it (I'd send it back to the service center but I'm on a deadline that shipping would hinder).
I did my rear shock on my Triumph Tiger at my old work (Wolf Ford).. anyone who has a Nitrogen Tire machine should be able too do it if it has a shrader valve... but to do the rest of the things.. I cant help with a suggestion
I have used deycore in the past and have had good results. Might be a little out of the way depending on where you live. www.deycore.com
There really isn't much to a shock. There pretty simple once you get into them. Pro-Action does a good job with dirt bikes maybe the can help you out. http://www.proactionofminnesota.com/ They may also be out of your way depending on where you live.
depends on the shocks. the front strut I'm running has 96 pieces on the Bill of Materials. It's 4 way adjustable (rebound, low speed compression, high speed compression, hydraulic bump) - I have the exploded diagrams as well, I wouldn't call it simple (the design is actually pretty ingenious, especially the hydraulic bump). Elite Shock Services was able to do it for me in 1 day
oh yea here's the link for ESS http://www.eliteshockservices.com/index.htm All the bike shops I went to or called wouldn't touch it unfortunately
