Shops/Hiring

Hello I was wondering if any shops on this website were hiring? I'm 17 years old and have worked at Byerlies for 3 years. I have no experience working on cars and would love to find a job that's hands on and doesnt require any backround experience. It doesnt matter what kind of pay is offered but I would prefer a part/full time position over the summer. Well I hope I get lucky..Thanks in advance

 

The best places to start is a tire shop. I know Roseville Tires Plus is hiring. I would reccomend TP if you would like to do both oil changes and tires. Or discount tire and just do tires. Most people start with this route. I went from Sears at Maplewood to Tires Plus in Roseville and was about to go to Discount but ended up selling Subys in Brooklyn Park and now is sitting in the same office as Ray. lol

 

Second the tire shops. I would not really recomend working at a tires plus. There schedualing sucks and some times they make you come in on your day off. Maybe try a Goodyear? Start out just doing General service stuff then learn from there. Just be ready to do alot of bitch work.

Its not going to be a lot since you don't have any experience. I think Tp is going to be right around 7.00 and DT might be around 8.00 don't know you should try to get a interview with both shops.
