Hi Ive been a member for a while just reading the numerous threads and getting ideas. I have a green 96 impreza brighton and from the beginning my plans were to swap in a JDM Ej20. Ive been looking online since march and havent found much. I was on ebay the other day and found this JDM EJ20 and was woundering if it is worth it or is it too good to be true?
sorry about that http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-Subaru-Impreza-WRX-STi-Version-7-RARE_W0QQitemZ260148562623QQihZ016QQcategoryZ33615QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I say figure out the most you would spend on it.. then punch that bid in and walk away till you get an email saying you won or lost...
I would 100% percent suggest going with East coast swappers or Garage Tuning and having them ship you something. they stand behind every swap they sell. Meaning they'll replace everything. plus :http://www.rs25.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66658 seriously. buy it.
Yep, I am with Steve-O. That auction is BS or it is going to shoot through the roof. There is now way that auction is going to stay that cheap. You can't buy a 207 shortblock for that cheap much less a complete motor and tranny. Russ
I'm going to go with scam on this one. Check his feedback. It looks like an abandoned user name that someone hijacked. No activity for nearly 3 years on the account and all of a sudden he is selling palletized engines? I'd stay away.
I kinda thought it was too good to be true and i will check out East Coast Swappers and see what they have. thanks for the help.
