Debadging the trunk makes the car look a little more clean. It is a matter of taste and preference. My GC is debadged, and a lot of people ask me what car it is. :I

Hair dryer, Dental Floss, goo gone, cotton Towel, Fingernail, optional wax
    I've debadged two subarus.

First, heat up individual letter, then take the floss and simply floss it off, saw back and forth with it until its off. When the letter is off, re-Heat the goo that is left after the letter is off, get it pretty hot, then use the cotton towl and use a circular motion to "ball" up the goo and it should come off pretty easily. May have to repeat once or twice on the goo to get most of it. When all is gone but a very fine layer, use goo gone, let it sit for a few, i went on to the next letter and worked on it while it was on, then use your fingernail to lightly scrape it off. Finally wax when done and that's a rap.

Let me know if you need help.

I managed to debadge the WRX with a hairdryer, though I do not recommend it. If you have the money, just go out and buy a heatgun, its worth it.

If I had the chance, I would rebadge my trunk with "U R A B U S" or maybe I can get a custom plate of that. :p
