spring begins in couple hours and winter is finally all behind as us now......SHOW OFF UR WHEELS!!!!!
here is a genaric pic of mine.. prodrive P7, mine are rapped with kuhmo Ecsta MX rubber View attachment 3341
The SSR Comps are always a favorite. Light as hell and strong. Almost got a set of Comp-Xs (not so light, but seriously strong) before I got my OZ gravel spec wheels (and sold them to Kelly and got Raceline RL-7s) for rally tire use. My Kazera KZ-Vs are cheap and light. I have to assume this means they're not strong (pick any two, you know the rule), but they've held up surprisingly well. Pulled them out of the bags about 1hr ago and after 3 summers, including some time on gravel, and they're still round and don't have a scratch on them. Now I want to go put them on, but it's time to get the kid up from his nap.
Here is a pic of my summer rims the last day the car was out in September. I have brand new re070's on them now :yumyum: Those tires are actually for sale...I'll make someone a really good deal
here they are 18's which are for sale!! On my car till end of the week. Winter Rims/tires New Rims/tires
nice gold 5spokes! heres what i got. Winter setup: 16" Gold 6 spokes w/ Nokians Summer setup: 15" 5 spokes w/ Potenza G009s
^ lol, i know my snow tires are low profile and my summers are a 60 sidewall. but just think 15" wheels = lighter ----> faster acceleration. IIRC this is why you tried to put 13" wheels on your car.
winter - wrx gunmetal with 205/55/16 blizzak ws50 And summers going on this weekend rota tarmac with 225/45/17 kuhmo ecsta spt
The spokes are quite difficult to align when the car isn't suspended. Maybe I need to install hydraulics. :yumyum: not.
Don't remember if i lowered it in that pic or not.... but my overall wheel/tire radius is smaller than stock
bleh, I'm burning up my old winter tires for now so ugly wheels for a while longer... then I'll switch over to rs 6-spokes for summer.
Summer (I like the prodrive wheels but I sorta lust after the BBS wheels or the Prodrive P7s) Winter (I kinda want to do 17" steelies next year for winter)
