This is exactly what i'm doing with my 04 wrb sti. I'm painting the stockers flat black and i'm going wingless with the cf hood/trunk. I think it will look tight. I'll post some pics when i get it done!

Looks sweet in my opinion...both fobia and bikerboy have redone their sti rims in black. I think fobia may have done glossy but either way it looks sick. I love the look of cf hood/trunk and black wheels that I have going

I have been wanting to do this since I got my car in March of last year. Wonder if anyone would discount for multiple sets. Flat black so I never have to clean them.

I heard ReadyMix does a very good job and is very reasonable, I have talked to him in the past about it. My wife and I are driving down to Daytona Beach for Spring Break and a big car show, I wanted something to set car apart a little bit.

I could be wrong but I do not think The Mix does powercoating. I want to do that for sure to make it as tough as possbile.

Depending on price and downtime, I might be down for a powdercoating group buy.

I think a group buy could be done just gotta find a place...I want my stockers painted with a blue lip like another person on the board or I would even redo mine since mine arn't technically black and I would love to have flat black.

hmmm now looking at that wrb with black i'm having second thoughts. I wonder if there are any pics of one with like a graphite or flat/matte black. I saw that bronze idea and that could look pretty cool. haha i'll play around with he photoshop today and see:naughty:

I have bronze currently on my wrb and they dont look too bad. If you want some bronze rims I would consider selling my bronze w/ polished lip subzero rotas. they are 18 x 7.5 I believe.
