how come the resale price for outbacks are much cheaper than the standard L wagon? i see 97-2001 L wagons going from 6grand to 11grand depending on the car. But i'm seeing 2000-2001 outbacks going for as low as 6grand. whats the difference that makes the L so much more expensive than the outbacks?

I see no difference, drivetrain-wise, between the outback and the L. They both use the same body and motor, but I think the outback was made for off-road adventures while the L is more for the less fortunate folks with less moola. I've never seen any Outbacks in racing events before. :p
