MN requires two license plates, If you want to ditch that front plate, click on these links.

This is our chance people, if you support only having one license plate on your car, now is your chance!! Start tying letters to your state representative so we can get this thing through.

Here is a link to help you find your representative:
    http://www.gis.leg.mn/mapserver/districts/

Now get to typing them letters!

Hrm.. Your links don't work. Do you have some sort of bill number? I'd love to look into this.

Just an idea to put in your letter, but 2 plates cost twice as much to the state. By only requiring 1 plate the state could save money on materials.

Yes, super long shot but hell, it's worth it.

Time would be better spent trying to change the tint law IMO.

^^^Maybe so, but window tint doesn't already have a bill started that will get voted on very soon.

People were also mentioning how it hinders aerodynamic flow properties of cars thus reducing mileage, economics like ryan mentioned, pollution from producing the plates, there are tons of ideas. Agreed they are all long shots, but to me it's definately worth 5 minutes of my time. I just don't like the way plates look on the front of most cars especially my WRX, and I especially don't like the $110 or so fine it is to not have one right now. Thats why I posted this topic.

    ^^^^ +1 Post the template!!!

It also hinders airflow to those of you who have FMIC's!!!!

I went to school in MI for a few years and they don't require front plates. I much prefer my car with out the plate.
