    Has anyone done This mod?

I just finished up changing out my stock lines to SS brake lines and I don't like the mushy pedal feel. I'm running SS lines all the way around on my 1994 T-Leg with ATE Super Blue. I'm not truly concerned about stopping distances (the stock pads and rotors stop just fine, for now) but I REALLY don't like the mushy pedal feel. This is the next step, as far as I can tell.

Who has done this? Who has a better idea? Who would be willing to do some discovery learning with me?

    Thanks

Cliffs: I hate the mushy pedal feel on my T-Leg and am thinking about doing the single-stage brake booster mod to fix it. I'm scared and want some help or some better ideas.

did you bleed the entire system correctly..... you should have a much stiffer pedal after installing the lines regardless of vehicle...

I have ABS. As for pics, I'll get some tomorrow. I finished tonight at about 8:30pm and didn't want to spend any more time in the garage.

On a positive note, I changed both front belts, swapped brake lines, and installed my new AGX/GC coilover sleeve set-up today with no significant issues. I'm pretty sure my car will self-destruct tomorrow since doing three mods in one day with no broken bolts, missing parts, or emotional meltdowns is impossible.

I must wait for payday before I throw up any more offers on parts. The wife has just finished budgeting for this month and since she paid off a bunch of bills without telling me... we're broke until Labor Day.*

*For those that I've committed to buying parts from, I'm still good for it. I just can't buy any MORE stuff this month

Gravity bled them. It's definitely stiffer than it was, just not as stiff as I'd like.

^^^feel free to misquote that in the future.

Ray says that all teh time....

You may still need to get someone else to manually bleed them...

if we do the alignment tomorrow maybe we could give it a shot

Hopefully we can do that. I'll throw the Superblue in the car when I head out in the morning.

Possibly, depneding on time/place....although it is really a quite simple task. To give you an idea, the toughest part is bleeding the master cylinder. ;)

Hmm. Once I get ahold of a Single-stage booster (Justin, hold on to that for me, please.) I'll take a shot at it.

I have heard some really good things about the single stage booster. It may be tough finding one (other than the one justin has) as they only put them on for a year or so. Then changed to the 2 stage booster because of an over sensitive brake pedal.

I did the booster on my brat and it wasnt too bad. I have a feeling it will be much easier on a newer car (less rusty bolts).
