Made a little skateboard edit last week with a few friends. I borrowed my buddies Nikon D5000 to play with the video a bit because I am thinking about getting one soon. Never really thought that a DSLR would be good for videos but so far I am impressed! Anyway let me know what you think! I am still learning with video so comments are welcome! Oh and I used Sony Vegas 9 to edit!! Enjoy!!!
nice, only major thing that sticks out would be during the indoor session the background noise was a bit distracting... and his blue shoes
Yeah I noticed it was a little to loud but it was already rendered and I was too lazy to go back! lol Thanks for watching and the feedback!
Video is for a video camera, DSLR is for pictures. This cross-crap annoys me when they're taking what should be a high end camera and multipurposing it while removing stuff to make high end pictures. Yes I own a DSLR and yes I know how to use it and "auto" mode doesn't count.
I know what you are saying and my main reason for getting a DSLR is for photos and I feel like I take good ones with out the auto setting... I was just surprised that this camera could take such sweet video never really thought of it like that but if you are going to pay that much for a camera it might as well be able to do both yah know?
Rally cars are for rallying........oh wait. Yes I own a DSLR and yes I know how to use it........... I picked up the D5000 and love it. 'wagon attack' was done w/ a camera, http://wagonattack.com/about/ which gave me the idea of getting a camera that can do HD video. having a newborn, I can capture photos and movies, without missing anything. I think that you did a great job, keep it up!
