At the moment weather channel says 4-6" tonight, and possibly another inch tomorrow. But from the map, right now it's all south of us.
who here remembers in 1991 when we got that bilzzard in october when it was 50 out and it rained and then it snowed like hell
Oh yes! The hollowen storm, I drove around in my truck and pulled people out of the ditch for 12 hours! I only got stuck once on an exit ramp where there was a sea of other stuck cars and trucks. I got them to push me out and backed down the ramp wentback on the freeway went up an exit and turned around to go back. I went down the ramp backwards and hooked to a Blazer that was hooked to a Suburban with a trailer :roll:. The two of us got the Suburban out. Then I went and got the rest of the people out. I even saw a Trooper stuck and offered to help but he refused and said he wished he could let me. He said he was there for 4 hours. :shock: I dont think I have ever had as much fun in the snow as that. I even lined up at a light on Hwy. 5 with a snowmobile.

Hey Hope all of us that had to work today made it in with no problems. I did but I start work at 6am. Last big Hurah for the snowtires.
No fun for me tonite...some asshat last nite decided to turn in front of me and cut me off in my lane instead of turning into the open slow lane(also his only legal choice). I swerved right to avoid rear-ending him and cracked my front passenger rim on the curb and gave the back one a little road rash. Too bad I was going 50 in 6th, no power to pull out of the slide and no time to downshift. Because there was already at least 6 inches of snow on the road he kicked up snow like crazy behind him and on my windshield so I couldn't get a plate number(not that it woulda done any good)...also the guy never stopped either to see if all was ok. Went to mtka scubaru this am and at least there is no suspension damage. My front passenger side rim feels like its pointing to the right and is pretty scary in the snow. People like that make me wish I owned firearms.
People like that make me happy I don't live in Minnesota :lol: . But on a serious note, that blows bigtime!
ouch! i am sorry to hear bout the wheelz. ppl need to pay attention to what they are doing, especailly while its blizzardin
wellz i would like to go play in the snow but i dont really wanna drive all the way downtown tonight. i will see you guys on friday!
