I'm in the MI UP for school, and we got 3-4 inches yesterday. So between classes I've been out playing. Anyway, pics: And I also found a pretty cool road that goes up a hill, is twisty and dirt, but doesn't seem to lead anywhere. There were no tire tracks when I went up it the first time. A friend of mine and I took a few action shots: All of the good pics are available at FULL RES (3456x2304 pix), just in case you want them. http://picasaweb.google.com/steven.korsch
Snow is always fun Went out and played again today, but no sweet jumps lol The local ski hill isn't supposed to open until 12/7 though, then there will be even more fun
That's one of them. There's a bar in the ambassador, i think the KBC (keweenaw brewing company) has a bar downtown too. There are a ton more, I don't know them all...
and the library, with the adjoining "librewery" mmmm. I sat only a few feet away from the SOA rally team after last years rally event in Houghton. yeah. I'm pretty important.
I love the Library. I've drunkenly harassed some of the biggest names in USA rally there. I would move to Houghton (or more specifically Hancock) in a split second if we could justify it. Plus, after i finished building this house, I swore I was never moving again. I think I have to go to our place in the UP (little cabin) sometime this winter.
Yeah, LSPR is one of the best times of the year up here, that and anytime it's snowing Dynapar - I ended up painting it about a year and a half ago. The color is Atlantic Blue Pearl from the just-went-out-of-date Legacies. I wanted a factory color (but not necessarily Subaru) blue that looked really good and was subtler than look-at-me WRB, so I picked this. I've been really happy with it.
2 years ago i was in houghton riding snowmobile and i witnessed, extremly drunk guys dragracing on the river + low bridge = decapitation that image i will never forget.
I hate you. lets hope we can have fun tomarrow as well...10-12inch but to bad our weather men are on meth
