Hey guys, anyone know the cheapest place to bring my boards in for a grind? I normally do my edges, but it has been a few years and want to get a full grind...

    Thanks!

Hoigaards has always done mine. Another place to check would be The hut in wayzata.

Also, The House is located in minneapolis, and I'd imagine they would do grinding too.

    Their website is www.The-House.com

Pinewski's in Anoka a cool local shop. I used them alot when I was living in Elk River. They had a super cool staff then. Haven't been in there for a while now.

    Cough cough...where I play...I mean work;) ...Erik's Bike Shop.

However, what kind of base do you have? Most shops only use a belt sander to grind the base. Some will stone grind.

39 bucks will get you a base cleaning, base grind, edge detune, hot wax.

If you or anyone wants a special wax job I can do it. I always have an extremely fast board...faster than most. I've spent the past 18 years redefining my snowboard waxing for specific surfaces/conditions.

PM me for specific information or questions.

I work at Pinewski's and our rates are 34.95 for a regualr tune and 44.95 for a stone grind tune. That includes gettin gyour base free of sratches sharpening edges (and detuing them) hot wax and scrape. Lemme know if you got ?'s! Stay as far away from sports authority as you can. Those fools are special!

Considering going to Anoka would be quite a trek....I may have to look into this. I am actually looking for a stone grind only. I could live with a hot wax, but I can do the waxing myself and I don't let anyone detune the edges as I have my own preference (just about none on the carving board). Is that something they would do for less? If not, maybe getting a grind and hot wax only could be worth the $$....

Thanks, I will get a hold of you.

^^^Unfortunately Eriks doesn't stone grind. I even have to go elsewhere for that.
