a little video photographeralways put togather last night. 2001 Rs Moly Pistons Eagle Rods Td04 wrx topmount stock injectors and management :eek3: she pulls pretty hard for running only about 4 psi, I was pretty impressed.
This! You can do custom like mine... I wouldnt mind making a copy of mine for the price of tattoos...
and let me add that it feels SO good to have boost. Thanks for allthe help w the turbo Tim, I love you
all things aside guys this is video is enough to make me go home and do this...congrats snowbum..these guys all love it too.
what would you all reccommend for management aside from getting a standalone? RRFPR? and will my old tleg injectors work in his rails? erik you should chime in about RRFPRs
oh and RRFPR is kind of a PITA to install but i'm certain is what has kept my engine alive all this time.
anyone know what stock rs injectors run for CCs? 270 or something? tom, I would suggest using your next paycheck to get a standalone wideband if you can afford it...
Yah, a wideband would definitly be useful! I'll pick one up, and run it in a safer manner until i have enough cash for standalone.
+1 on the wideband...also a knock sensor would help and 05 wrx injesctors work with your stock rails if youre going to use them..i belive the 05s were 550cc
maybe he could get a dtec? or some kind of data logging piggyback? and I wasnt talking about getting a standalone, just a standalone wideband. although if you have the cash, thats the best way to do it.
I was very impressed with bielke and his hydra. darnit, maybe i should pick up something with the likes of a dtec and save for a hydra.
Congrats on getting it running! I am looking forward to seeing the RS on the road again. I will have to start working on getting my kit ready again, so we can play. The EJ22T injectors most likely wont fit in your rails (easily). If you do put in the WRX injectors you will need to definately tone them down with something. I would recommend getting a engine management before you do injectors. I ran for a while with the EJ22T injectors (almost double the stock EJ22E injector flow) and it ran like poo until I hit boost. LOL
Wear did you get that hanus polo Tim? Also nice job, glad you got it figured out. I couldn't help I was at work then went to Rage.
yum yum! Glad my turbo is working, and dude....props on all the hardwork finally paying off. Cant wait to see this thing when I'm back in october. hats off. ps i love you
Glad you like it. Yea I just kind of threw it together. But it took like 3hrs to upload it....:ugh: oh and I think the music level is fine, you can still here the rubles pretty good. It could be turned down a bit, but meh.
good to see another boosted n/a, now i need to get mine rolling. are you using a different FPR or the stock one?
right now i have stock, but if it becomes an issue with higher boost i will be forced to get a new one.
