so i screwed myself today

    well into porting the second head i screwed myself. though i could go alittle bigger, well i went to big, hit the water port on the bottom side. anyone got a 2.5 sti head laying around? this project is just keeps getting more expensive

    ya, this isnt the first time i have done this though, just on suby heads. its always fun learning the limitations when your working on a new set of heads, just expensive

    if it was a POS car to just drive around id think about that. not going to screw up a 5k engine for a few hundred dollar head

    its an important part, cover the JB weld with Aluminum tape when dried.

    i would tig weld it but there is no way of getting in there. i could maybe weld it with the spool gun but i dont have an argon tank here

    I see you wanted some swirl effect. Our USDM heads are already like that. The JDM big ports are more tumble as they have a raised floor. Ok sorry I don't have a spare head. I'll ask around.

    ya, i should have been using my wall guage while i was porting it but i wasnt (stupid me). ya man if you could him one that be awesome.

    I have a set for $150 cash, firm. the one has a cracked seal, but its easily welded back on. no one was smart enough to bite on here, and if you don't take them for that they're going on nasioc for 3x that.
