haha, I saw that today working. Looks like I'll be going part's shopping in Chux's driveway soon. haha. Hopefully I get mine back together soon, I have all the parts back from the machine shop now
machine shop? wow, fancy schmancy. yea, the front fender is in the same condition as yours....so no help there. the rear window is tied up (yes, tied, like.....with a shoelace :roll so I haven't looked at the inside of the tailgate. but from the outside, it looks to be in pretty good shape.......so I'm keeping it  you can have the one off my truck. it does have the gas tank skid though. the kid was a total tool. It took me a month to make this deal because he spent a week in panama, then a week without a phone because he ran it through the washing machine, then 5 days in Washington state.....then when I went over to look at it, he spent the whole time skateboarding around...... so I don't feel bad for a second that I robbed him blind :yumyum: but the engine runs like a top. only 205k miles on it! makes some noise, but after quite a bit of investigating, I'm pretty sure it's the power steering pump, it took some impact, and the pulley is bent. the noise is most definitely not coming from the bottom end. oh yea, and the parking brake doesn't work......who'd a thunk?
Yeah, luckily I brought the head in, cause it was so warped that at one point when he was measuring if it was straight, it wasn't off by thousands....he said he could have used a normal ruler to measure the gap. Luckily no cracking tho. Pretty sure a working e-brake was a dealer option or something... Lmk when your gonna work on this swap I'll come help out if I can! And hopefully get your badass-half Green pizza beater to you soon.
yep. this one is not worth fixing. the rust isn't as bad as Max's truck, but close in places. and the damage is bad enough......yea. gotta get the escort and '86 subaru finished before I'm even going to touch the 4Runners......but now I have 95% of the parts for all 3 projects :yumyum:
